Questions we get asked
Do you take walk-ins?
Sometimes — clients have written about walking in and being seated straight away, but there is no promise of it. Call first and we will tell you in a minute whether a chair is free. For color, keratin or an updo, book ahead: those run from an hour and a half to three hours.
How far in advance should I book color?
A week is comfortable for highlights or balayage. Root touch-ups and blow-dries can often be fitted in within a day or two — call and ask.
Do you cut men's and children's hair?
Yes. Men's haircuts are $40, beard trims $20, and a boy's haircut is $35. Nara is the stylist clients name most often for men's cuts.
Is there parking?
Yes — the salon lists parking among its amenities, and there is street parking along Ocean View Blvd and around Montrose.
What is a Russian gel manicure?
A dry, machine-based cuticle prep followed by gel — it sits closer to the cuticle and holds its shape longer than a classic gel manicure. It is $70 with hard gel.
Which areas do you serve?
Most clients come from Montrose, La Crescenta, La Cañada Flintridge, Tujunga, Sunland and the rest of Glendale, with some driving in from Burbank and Pasadena.
