Permanent makeup
Powder brows, eyeliner and lip tint
Pigment placed in the skin by Knar, so that your face is finished when you wake up. Every one of these starts with a free consultation — we will not book the procedure until we have had it.

Powder brows, not microblading
Powdering builds a soft, misted brow out of thousands of tiny pigment dots, the way a pencil or a powder would look — dense at the tail, lighter at the head. Microblading cuts fine hair-like strokes into the skin instead. Powder wears better on most skin types, especially oily skin, where blade strokes tend to blur into a smudge within a year.
Shape comes before pigment. Knar maps the brows to your own bone structure and your own face sitting up, not lying down, and you see the drawing and approve it before a needle is opened. If the shape is not right, nothing else about the appointment matters.
The healing is part of the treatment
Expect it to look too dark and too sharp for the first few days — that is the pigment sitting in the top layer of skin and it is supposed to happen. Then a light flaking stage over the following week, and you must let it come away on its own. Picking at it is how patches are made.
The true colour is not visible until around four to six weeks, when the skin has settled and the pigment has softened, typically by a noticeable amount. That is why a top-up is planned into the process rather than sold as a fix afterwards. Judge the result at six weeks, not at six days.
How long it lasts, and who should wait
Well-placed permanent makeup holds for one to three years before it needs refreshing. Oily skin, sun exposure and strong exfoliating acids all shorten that; keeping your face out of direct sun and off retinol near the treated area lengthens it.
Come to the consultation and be straightforward with us if you are pregnant or nursing, on blood thinners, prone to keloid scarring, have had recent work in the area, or are diabetic. Some of those mean waiting rather than never — but they need saying before the appointment is booked, not on the day.
Who does it
The chair you are booking
Knar
Knar does permanent makeup — cosmetic tattooing that survives a shower and a swim: powdered eyebrows, eyeliner and lip tint. Each of the three starts with a free consultation, where the shape is mapped on your own face and approved by you before any pigment goes in.

Where a price says “and up”, that is the starting figure for the service as listed — very long or very thick hair needs more product and more time. You are told the number at the chair, before anything is mixed or applied, not afterwards.
